Valdez Valley, NM A view from the top of Valdez Valley, this is a watercolor painting on heavy paper. The views in New Mexico are amazing: every color in the rainbow finds it's way into the landscape. I would never have believed an arid land could have so many colors. Driving over the valley from the top is an amazing experience, one I am still trying to paint. I kept looking up, however, because a beautiful storm was coming up.
