The Fairy Toy Theater Open and Lit

The Fairy Theater is my first toy theater lit by LED lights. I intend to make a whole line of fun lights for my toy theaters and mixed media projects. You can light up almost anything semi-transparent with LED lights, and they actually run quite awhile on batteries, with the option of a permanent power source. I discovered that interior lights add a realism that you can't get any other way. It creates space, accentuates color, and makes the scale appear more natural. In Spirit houses, for instance, I often mix scales and the interior lighting creates a unified dreamlike quality.
